And I grabbed a quick photograph for you.
This is a BFL bump I dyed myself. I don’t think dyeing is something I am overly good at, nor is it something I am passionate about. But this one seemed to turn out quite well, very pumpkin patchy.
I started this on spindles ages ago, but had not continued, simply due to the fact that I just couldn’t be bothered. When I realized it was Spinday and I didn’t have a project, I grabbed the one that was already out of the cupboard and got started. I ended up finishing the bump last evening, so I set it aside overnight to rest, and began plying this morning.
I have come to the realization that for the past 3 weeks, I’ve averaged a skein of handspun per week. I can tell you what this means. It means that our life has finally slowed down significantly, and I am having real honest free time over the weekends now. It’s incredibly pleasant!
