Rolling Project Pan Update 4

Here are the prompts I was working with along with the photo from last month.

1.  A product with cute packaging
2.  An expensive product
3.  A product in loose form
4.  A drugstore product
5.  A product I bought because of youtube
6.  An old favorite
7.  A product you haven’t used in a while.img_3350

I am adding in a new prompt, number 8 is A product of your choosing. Here’s this month’s updated photo:

My product with cute packaging is the pretty vulgar setting powder. Last month it was weighing in at 72 grams, this month it is at 70 grams. Since in the last update I only managed to use 1 gram, I have improved by using 2 grams.

My expensive product is the hourglass ambient lighting powder in dim light. My goal is to hit pan. I am still not there.

A drugstore product is my NYX eyebrow pencil. The goal here is to use it up. It is now starting to feel smaller when I use it, so I am making progress overall. But, quite frankly, during these stay at home times, I’ve been using a different brow pencil because the color has never been fantastic, and I figured I’d save the better pencil for when I am back at work.

A product I bought because of youtube is my CYO lifeproof foundation. I made no progress this month on it. I like this foundation. I like it very much. And it is no longer available. So, I don’t want to use it just to use it. I want to save it for a time when I can wear it to work. While my original goal was to use this foundation up, I did not calculate for weeks of working from home and then face mask wearing. As  such, I am rolling this out at this time. I’ll bring it back someday at a more appropriate time.

An old favorite is my benefit hula bronzer. It’s just a sample size. I felt certain I would hit pan on it this month. I’ve got a significant dip in the upper right hand corner. But I did not hit pan. So, maybe in this upcoming month.

A product I haven’t used in a while is my blue liner. The goal here is just to use it below the L’oreal mark, but I haven’t even begun wearing that off while sharpening. That being said, this is a great color to pair with berry toned eyeshadows, and I’ve been wearing a heck of a lot of berry toned eyeshadows lately.

Since I am rolling out one product, I need to roll a new one in. My new product, which is a product of my choosing, is bare minerals bare pro foundation. As you can see I’ve used it regularly anyhow, there’s major pan in this. And, I think that once I am back at work physically, which will be for part of the week next week, this will be a better solution for touching up after mask wearing than a liquid foundation.

I’ve made a project pan that really has struggled to move forward. Most of my products have been large use items, and I’ve only hit a goal on one product. Add in a bunch of time when I don’t really feel like putting makeup on at all, and it’s a struggle, much more than I expected it to be!
