I don’t remember the last time I finished a skein of yarn, but I did finish one this week. Quite exciting.
This was a batt I had in my stash, I THINK it was fat cat knits, but I don’t remember. It was a gradient batt, and as such, I turned it into a gradient yarn. I spun this on support spindles, and I spun very thin. So, now I’ve got a 2 ply laceweight gradient with about 900 yards to it. I admit, this spin was extremely satisfying despite the fact that it took me many months to actually complete. Now, I am excited to start another project, this time fully on the wheel, and am preparing accordingly.
Oh that lil bit of turquoise in it is so perfect.
Yeah, those accents really make it! Lovely spinning, looks so squishable.
