Just a short post from me today. I opened my homemade makeup advent calendar this morning to find my Game of Thrones eyeliner. It’s a lovely metallic gold and I am always happy to use it, so this was a real win for the morning. I again used my tarte be a mermaid palette, this time using the duochrome shadow that flips from brick red to blue. Then I lined all around my eyes with the gold eyeliner. I also used my Laura Geller blush again. It’s fun to explore my extremely paired down makeup collection during this time frame.

The christmas ball was not a real win for me. I’ve made this mistake in the past as well, pairing two similarly toned yarns creates a colorwork project where absolutely none of the pattern pops. I knit this one on size 0 needles so it’s comparatively very small. Which I actually like! But I will do better at pairing yarns next time.
